Chloe Kaelia Weir’s father is an American musician famously known as the founder of the Greatful Dead band. Bob Weir was given up for adoption to Scottish parents by his biological parents. He tried to play the piano and trumpet, but he was unsuccessful; at 13, he started to play guitar and did well.
While attending school in his early life, he had trouble with undiagnosed dyslexia, which got him expelled from almost every school he attended, even at Fountain Valley School, where he met John Perry Barlow, Grateful Dead Guitarist.
Chloe Weir’s father started playing music with Jerry Garcia when he was 16 and later decided to form a band named The Beatles. The band was renamed The Warlocks and eventually the Grateful band, which was disbanded in 1995.
After the disbandment of the Grateful Dead, Bob Weir played in other bands such as; RatDog, Furthur, Bobby, and the Midnites, among many others.

In 1999 Bob Weir met Chloe Weir’s mother, who he married, and they are still together to date.
