Darryl Durdin, born on November 13, 1951, in Wilmington, Delaware, United States, is the brother of American actor Gary Dourdan. Darryl Durdin’s father was Robert Durdin, an entrepreneur and agent for jazz musicians and his mother was Vivian Durdin.
Darryl died in March 1973, aged 21, after falling from a balcony while researching the family lineage. Upon his death, Darryl was a student at the University of Delaware. His death case remains unsolved.
Darryl Durdin’s father married Sandy Durdin, a teacher and a fashion designer, and they had five children.

Then he was involved with Cynthia Hadden, with whom he has a son, and then he dated Jennifer Sutton from 1995 to 2000, and they had a daughter, Nyla.
Gary Dourdan had some legal issues surrounding his life; in 2008, he got arrested for possessing cocaine, ecstasy, and heroin. There were rumors that his arrest was connected to his departure from CSI, but it was not true since he had already appeared in his last scene.
In 2011, Dourdin got arrested for felony battery after breaking his girlfriend’s nose and was placed on five years of probation. He was asked to stay away from his girlfriend and attend domestic violence counseling for his crime.
