Lisa seal is the daughter of drug distributor Barry Seal and his first wife, Barbara Dodson. Lisa came to the spotlight a while back when she filed a lawsuit against Universal Pictures Inc. She claimed that the firm made a $350,000 deal with her father’s third wife and her children whereby they gave out Barry Seal’s details without court approval or her father’s estate consent. This was due to the thriller Mena written by Gary Spinelli and directed by Doug Liman. The film follows the life story of Lisa’s father’s transition from being a pilot to a drug distributor.

Lisa Seal is one of Barry Seal’s children with his first wife, Barbara Dodson. Lisa’s parents married in 1963 and had two children. Lisa’s date of birth and age are unclear since she prefers to keep her life private. Her parents divorced in 1971.
Lisa Seal Frigon Siblings
Lisa has five siblings, one of whom is a brother from her mother. The rest are her paternal siblings, one from a relationship he had between marriages and three from her father’s third marriage to Deborah DuBois. Lisa’s father’s second wife was Lynn Ross; their union lasted from 1971 to 1972. DuBois and Barry Seal married in 1973 and were together until he died in 1986.

There is not much information about Lisa’s mother, Barbara Dodson, except that she is famous as the ex-wife of Barry Seal.
On the other hand, Lisa’s father was constantly on the news for his shrewd engagements as a drug distributor. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Mary Lou and Benjamin Curtis Seal. His father was a candy wholesaler. Seal was a naturally gifted pilot and began to fly as a teenager. He got his student pilot certificate at 16 and a private pilot certificate at 17. After enrolling in the Louisiana Army National Guard for six years in 1962, Seal got six months of active duty and five and a half years of inactive duty.
He joined TWA as a flight engineer in 1964 and got promoted to the first officer, then captain, who regularly flew a Boeing 707. His career with TWA ended in July 1972 following his arrest for alleged involvement in smuggling plastic explosives to Mexico using a DC-4. Seal stated that he began smuggling small amounts of marijuana by air in 1976. His deals had expanded by 1978, whereby he flew large amounts of cocaine which was more profitable than marijuana smuggling.
By 1981, Seal’s smuggling activities were known by the DEA agents in Florida. He surrendered to federal authorities in April 1983 and was convicted in February 1984. Seal then became an informant to the government on drug cartels like Pablo Escobar, Fabio Jr., and Juan David Ochoa.
Unfortunately, Seal was gunned down in February 1986 in front of the Salvation Army Center, three weeks after his probation. Three men were charged with his murder.
Films and television series have been produced to depict Seal’s life, including 1991’s Doublecrossed, 2016’s The Infiltrator, and the 2007 drama-comedy film American Made.
