Patrick was the sixth generation in their family to graduate from Havard, while Ketanji was the second generation in her family to do so. After dating for a while, Ketanji and Patrick made their relationship official in 1996.

Patrick is a doctor by profession. He has worked as a surgical doctor at the Massachusetts General Hospital, while his wife worked in the courtroom. After long hours of work at the hospital. Patrick would go and watch his wife as he worked in the courts.
Patrick has watched his wife achieve success in her career, the same way he has succeeded in the medical field. He is now a gastrointestinal surgeon, and he works as a general surgeon at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

Patrick Has Supported Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Career
One thing that has made Patrick’s marriage more long-lasting is how they have supported each other. Despite having a busy career which has demanded much of their time, they have often found time for each other.
After graduating from Harvard, Patrick and Ketanji began their careers in the same area. Patrick would work 24 hours a shift, but he would still make it to Ketanji’s workplace, to watch her as she worked.
Patrick and Ketanji have continued with their relationship, supporting each other, almost marking three decades in a relationship. Patrick and Ketanji are now proud parents to two daughters.

Patrick’s two daughters have been crucial in his life. Leila is the youngest in the family, but she has been keen on seeing her parents succeed in their careers. When Leila was eleven years old, she wrote to President Obama to nominate her mother for the Supreme Court. A few years later, Leila lived to witness her mother become the Court Justice of the Supreme Court after President Joe Biden’s nomination.
