Jon Pardi was born Jonathan Ryan Pardi in Dixon, California, on 20 May 1985 to Jon Senior and Shellie Pardi-Harrington. His dad was a constructor. He graduated from Dixon High School in 2003. Pardi began writing music at 12, and by 14, he formed his band. He moved to Nashville after high school to pursue his music career.
Jon Pardi released his debut single, Missin’ You Crazy, in March 2012. It peaked at #29 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country and received three stars from Taste of Country’s Billy Dukes. His second single, Up All Night, became his first top-10 hit. His third release was What I Can’t Put Down, followed by When I’ve Been Drinkin’.
