Adrienne Korsmo (formerly Adrienne Jones) is the wife of former child actor, Charlie Korsmo. They have two children, Lilah Nell (2010) and William (2012).

Charles Randolph “Charlie” Korsmo was born on July 20th, 1978, in Fargo, North Dakota. His parents are Deborah Ruf, a psychologist, and John Korsmo, a lawyer. Following their divorce in 1989, Charlie lived with his mother. He has two brothers – John Edward “Ted” Korsmo II and Joseph Ruf “Joe” Korsmo.
Korsmo’s debuted on the big screen when he was 12 years old in Men Don’t Leave (1990), where he played Matt Macauley alongside Jessica Lange and Joan Cusack. The same year he appeared on TV in Heat Wave as Jason and as a guest in The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson.
Charlie’s acting career continued with the role of Kid in Dick Tracy (1990), where he had Warren Beatty, Madonna, and Al Pacino as co-stars. What About Bob? (1991) saw Korsmo on the big screen as Siggy Marvin with Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss. The year 1991 was a busy time in Charlie’s career in acting, as he played Nicky in The Doctor. Later that year, the young actor played Jack ‘Jackie’ Banning in Hook (1991); this film directed by Steven Spielberg starred Dustin Hoffman, Robin Williams, and Julia Roberts.
The most popular character Charlie played was William Lichter in Can’t Hardly Wait (1998), a romantic comedy also starring Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ethan Embry. The last role in his acting career was Herr Director in Chained for Life (2018).
MIT and Law School
After he retired from the big screen, Charlie Korsmo studied physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He had a 4.0 average and graduated in 2000. Six years later, in 2006, he earned his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Yale Law School. In between, he worked on missile defense for the US federal government, later for the Environmental Protection Agency, and in the House of Representatives for the Republican Party.
Lawyer And Professor
Charlie passed the New York State Bar exam in the summer of 2007. He worked his way to becoming an associate in the office of Sullivan & Cromwell, New York. In addition, he had a collaboration with Brooklyn Law School, where he was a visiting professor.
At present, he lives in Cleveland, Ohio, and works as a professor at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He uses “Charles” instead of “Charlie”.
In the spring of 2011, President Obama nominated Charlie Korsmo as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation.
Did You Know?
After getting noticed as a child actor, he was offered a few roles that he turned down because of prior commitments, such as John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) and Mark Evans in The Good Son (1993).
