Regular exfoliation is necessary for removing dead skin cells and promoting cell turnover. Consider using a gentle body scrub or a loofah to exfoliate your skin 1-2 times a week. Focus on areas prone to roughness, like elbows, knees, and heels.

Be cautious not to over-exfoliate, as this can lead to redness and irritation. Always follow up with a hydrating lotion or cream to lock in moisture.

Sun Protection

Sun protection is a non-negotiable component of age-defying body care. UV rays are a big contributor to premature aging, such as wrinkles, age spots, and skin sagging. Use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 or higher on all exposed areas of your body before heading outdoors. Don’t forget to reapply every two hours when spending extended time in the sun. Wearing long-sleeved clothing and broad-brimmed hats can also help protect your skin.

Eat an Antioxidant-Rich Diet

Your diet plays a serious role in the health of your skin. Antioxidant-rich foods like berries, spinach, and nuts can help combat free radical damage, one of the culprits behind premature aging. These foods give your body the nutrients that it needs to maintain collagen and keep your skin looking firm and youthful.

Healthy habits can positively impact your skin’s appearance. Regular exercise promotes healthy circulation, which can enhance your skin’s natural glow. Try to get a minimum of 30 minutes of some kind of exercise most days of the week, whether you are running, walking, strength training, or another favorite activity.
