Jodean Bottom is the half-sister of American actor Joaquin Phoenix. She is the only child in the Bottom family, later known as the Phoenix family, to have not ventured into the acting industry. Jodean was born in February 1964 to John Lee Bottom and his ex-girlfriend, Trinity. Her place of birth is unclear since some sources indicate that she was born in Portugal, while others mention that she was born in Canada.
