The case was solved in favor of Kathleen, and she was awarded a small amount for child upkeep. Colonel welcomed his second son with his second wife in 1936, and they named him Colonel Walker Henderson Scott. Two years later, the family welcomed another member, Robert Ellis.

Charles Mansion was born in 1934 and spent half his life in prison. He was released from prison in 1967 and began attracting acolytes in San Francisco. The group relocated to Spahn Ranch in Los Angeles, although it burned down during a fire in 1970.
